White Tee Mini Series: Cutout Heart

The white T-Shirt is a key element in any wardrobe. It is very versatile and it can be worn with jeans, chiffon skirts, even black suit jackets. So it's a must that you have one in your closet. 

It happens that I have a few of them. And while it'a a key piece, one basic white t-shirt is enough. So I decided to give the others a little twist and create a mini DIY series with white t-shirts.

First one: a heart cutout back. This is really easy to make and it's it looks very very cool.

Here's what you need:

1. white t-shirt; 2. half a heart shape; 3. fabric chalk; 4. scissors

1. layout your t-shirt and draw the half heart on the back

2. draw the other half leaving a 1-2 cm space between the two shapes

3. with a ruler or freehand draw horizontal parallel lines inside the two shapes

4. cut along the parallel lines

5. pull each stripe to make the fabric edges roll inside

There you have it, the first episode of our white t-shirts series. This looks amazing over a black tank or an animal print bralette or even on bare skin.

Be my Valentine

A venit Februarie, luna iubirii, a trandafirilor rosii si a ursuletilor de plus. Si bineinteles ca nu puteam lasa sa treaca Valentine's day fara un tutorial. Unul simplu si unisex pentru ca felicitarea pe care o vom face o puteti oferi atat iubitei cat si iubitului.
February is here, the month of love, of red roses and teddy bears. And of course I couldn't let Valentine's day to slip by without a tutorial. An easy one and unisex because the card that we will be making can be offered to a boyfriend or a girlfriend.

Dragoste peticita / Patched Love

A venit toamna. Si desi pare greu de crezut, frigul de afara vine si cu un motiv de bucurie: e vremea sa scoatem la purtare colantii. Uní sau cu imprimeu, grosi sau subtiri, sub fuste sau ca atare, colantii au devenit o piesa de baza in garderoba oricui si cu siguranta si voi aveti cel putin o pereche neagra. Dar v-ati gandit vreodata sa ii inveseliti cu niste inimioare colorate? Si daca tot puneti mana pe ac si ata, sa asortati la ei si o bluza cu coatele peticite?

Autumn is here. And even if it seems hard to believe, the cold outside comes with a reason to celebrate: it's time to take out the leggings. Solid color or prints, thick or thin, under the skirt or by themselves, leggings have become an essential piece in every wardrobe and surely all of you have at least one black piece. But did you ever think to cheer them up with some colored hearts? And sice you already have your thread and needle out, to match them with a blouse with patched elbows?
